Forehead Lift

A forehead lift surgery is designed to raise the muscles and tissues that are responsible for furrowing. A Forehead lift surgery will create a smoother forehead, raise the eyebrows, and soften the visible signs of aging such as sagging eyebrows and deep wrinkles on the forehead. The forehead lift surgery is also performed to improve forehead wrinkles or frown lines in people with overactive forehead muscles irrespective of age. As well, this procedure is appropriate for any forehead lift patient with naturally heavy brows or the horizontal line above the nose (due to genetics). The most noticeable overall effect of forehead lift surgery is a more alert look to the face. In certain cases I have recommended patients to consider a forehead lift in conjunction with facelift in order to provide the best overall result. In the same manner, eyelid surgery can be performed at the same time to achieve a uniform and younger look.
