Forehead Lift - Surgical Technique

The endoscopic forehead lift technique involves three to five small incisions, (each less than one inch long). An endoscope - a tiny camera connected to a monitor - is then inserted through one of the incisions allowing me to view the muscles and tissues under the skin. The skin is lifted through another incision and the muscles are trimmed to create the desired tension in order to produce the smooth look to the forehead. In certain cases the eyebrows will be slightly pulled and sutured into position. The incisions in the scalp will then be stitched.
In my experience the endoscopic technique helps reduce the pain and promote quicker recovery for forehead lift surgery patients.

Forehead Lift Surgery Post Operative Care

Any temporary numbness and discomfort can be alleviated with medication prescribed after surgery. Stitches used to close the incisions are usually removed within a week and you can resume normal activities in a week to 10 days.
