Breast Implant Styles
There are two main types of breast implants: those which are filled with saline solution and those which contain silicone gel. Each breast implant type has certain advantages and limitations. The selection of implant depends upon several factors including patient’s existing breast shape and size, incision location and breast symmetry. Generally, the breast implant style is less important than other factors. The final decision regarding implant size and style is established during our pre operative consultation.
